Important medical note Hashi is intended for personal wellness tracking and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Hashi, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identifier information, such as an anonymous app account identifier, referral data, reward status, and subscription customer identifiers used to keep your account working across our services.
  • Profile information you choose to provide, such as your first name, age range, diagnosis status, goals, and reminder preferences.
  • Health and wellness information you manually enter, such as symptoms, lab values, medications, supplements, habits, notes, and other thyroid-related tracking information. This information is primarily stored locally on your device unless you export it or another feature specifically requires server support.
  • HealthKit data you explicitly authorize Hashi to read, such as sleep or workout information. Hashi currently requests read access only.
  • Purchase or subscription information related to premium features, where applicable.
  • Documents or images you choose to import for lab tracking, which are stored in the app’s local storage on your device unless you export or share them.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Hashi and its features.
  • Store and display the health and wellness information you choose to track.
  • Sync account, referral, reward, and subscription status across our service providers.
  • Generate summaries, insights, exports, or visualizations based on your entries.
  • Support subscriptions, anonymous account access, troubleshooting, and reliability.
  • Protect the app, prevent misuse, and maintain security.
  • Comply with legal obligations when required.

3. Health and Sensitive Data

Some information you enter into Hashi may be considered sensitive personal information or health-related information. We treat this data with heightened care.

Hashi is designed to help users organize and review personal wellness information. Any summaries, insights, trends, highlights, or exported reports generated by the app are informational only and should not be relied upon as medical advice or as a clinical decision-making tool.

You are responsible for deciding what information you enter into the app and whether to share any exported material with a clinician or other third party.

4. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following situations:

  • With service providers who help operate the app, such as authentication, database hosting, analytics, and subscription infrastructure providers.
  • When you request an action that requires sharing, such as exporting your data.
  • When required by law, subpoena, court order, or similar legal process.
  • To protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of some or all business assets, subject to applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Daily logs, lab entries, imported lab report files, and many profile settings may remain stored locally on your device until you remove the app data, delete the app, or delete that content yourself.

If you request deletion of server-stored information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify anonymous account, referral, reward, or subscription-linked data we control, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or operational retention needs.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information. However, no method of storage, transmission, or security is completely guaranteed. You use the service at your own risk and should keep your device secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the “Last updated” date and take additional steps where required by law. Your continued use of Hashi after changes become effective means the updated policy will apply.
